3D Geometry/Symbolic/model lines on RCP vs Plan

Hey there!

I am trying to get a quick family of a showerhead that's ceiling-mounted done. I want it to be visible on RCP's but also have a 2D representation of normal plans. I cannot seem to get the symbolic lines shown and if I turn them into model lines the 3D geometry shows on a plan as well and Revit considers that is cutting through the family I suppose. Any tips on how to show just a symbolic outline on the plan and the 3D on RCPs?

If I am understanding you correctly.

Using Generic Model Ceiling Based and then categorised as Plumbing Fixture

You model the 3D elements using the Ceiling Plan Ref Level

You draw the 2D lines using the Floor Plan Ref Level

So the 3D element should be visible in the RCP only and the 2D lines Will be visible in the Floor plan.
