3D & Elevation Graphics

Hello, my name is Albert and I'm writing this post because I'm working on a project where I've created a policarbonate module on the facade and I'm having some problems with the graphics. As I have a lot of lines in the drawing because this modules, when I'm trying to create a general view I just can see a black facade (as in the first image attached) but when I click to move the view, I can see the facade clear as I would like (see 2nd image attached). This is happening in the 3D and elevation views and even I've tried to set up the thinest line in the original family, I just can see the overall in black. I would like to ask if it's posible to keep the graphics that I have just when I move the view, to have a general view clear as in the 2nd image.

Thank you so much in advance to everyone.

Hi @barthbradley thanks for your answer. Looks the same way as the first one that I attached before, I attach you the new screenshot.

So, you are saying that some 3D View Angles are better that others. This is true in real life. I don't know what to tell you, except to use the View that best communicates the design intent -- and that can actually be printed.  Now, if you are saying that there is just too much line work (e.g. too much detail) being displayed in Elevation Views, then you need to reduce the level of detail or change the view scale.  As for reducing the level of detail, this can be achieved, in part or in whole, through View and Element Visibility Overrides by simply turning off or hiding what you don't need to see in the View -- and/or, View and Element Graphic Overrides by simply reducing the Line Weights.

If you want to post your file for me to examine, maybe I can come up with some other suggestions. But right now, all I am seeing is a bad view angle.

BTW: Do you have Thin Lines turned on or off in this Hidden View?

Sorry for the late reply, I've tried to upload the file several times but I think is too big. The thing is that I just can see the 3d view clear (as in the second image I attached before) when I hold down the mouse to rotate the view. So I don't understand why I can see the 3d model clear just when I'm rotating the view.
