Hello,
I insert Journal file, and screencast.
#metoo
In my case I am using the central file feature and the central files are stored on a local NAS; Workstation has plenty free space, memory, I7 processor etc etc. Models are audited.
Printing from revit 2019 to PDF has no problems,
but when it comes to DWG export of floorplans it doesnt work, maybe 3 out of 8 arch and structural floorplans.
And my costumer definatly needs those files in DWG file format;
The model i am working on right now has a seperate linked revit model with a in revir modeled steel structure, default strucutral template, levels, grids, beams and columns from revit library 2019, no steel connections.
I checked Edgaras hypothesis
When I unload the steel structure model from main model all export goes well to DWG file format. But yep, that is of course without steel structure ...
It is also frustrating that there is not some kind of readable log file, i am not a computer nerd; What happened, at which part the export went bad ??
I see a lot of help request on a diversity of online forums for this dwg export issue, but have not seen a solution; Can autodesk communicate regarding this issue , or even better fix this ?
Hi, I just tried to export a dwg from a newly intaled Revit 2019.2, in a Windows 10 machine, and found out I have the same problems as @Edgaras.BIM.old. As far as I can see...
I don't belive I have anything related to steel in the file (but I might be wrong, anyone knows how I can find out? I'm no structural engineer...)
I haven't tried many tests but tried to restart the computer and the program to get the same result.
I tried them to export from a diferente computer with Revit 2019.2 and it worked (it is not Windows 10 and has a structure suite), Revit LT in a third PC so far doesn't have any problems exporting to dwg, so it's something with my computer, the instalation or some Windows 10 conflict. Or something else... Anyone has any ideias?
My computer has also having the problem of "losing" the ability to see the material libraries some times. The solution I found in the web is to restart the problem. Really annoying.
Does anyone with this issues have tried to reinstall the architectural suite? Did it worked? I can't ask my boss to take his time to do this again if it will not solve the problem...
Hope somebody can help...
Hi @Anonymous , @Edgaras.BIM.old, and others with similar issues,
Please send me the below information(in a private link) if you'd prefer. This will help us investigate your issue further and log it with the development team if required.
1. Please post a journal and a screencast of what you are experiencing
2. A diagnostic data-set
Please see: Revit - Collecting and sending diagnostic data to Autodesk Technical Support
3. Dwg and rvt files
4. any other details regarding windows etc.
@Edgaras.BIM.old I have some of your files, but we would need a most recent journal if this issue is still relevant.
Looking forward to hearing from you all! Glad to assist.
Regards,

I have the same issue. DWG and DXF Export is not working.
I have the same issue. It seems to be having a problem when I try to export DWG with Xref. There is no problem when exporting to DWG without Xref.
I have the same problem - periodically exporting files does not work, files are of zero size or cannot be opened, because busy with another program (Revit 2019.2). The cause is not clear.
Same issue. The first sheet set or single drawing will export, but after that they just sit at 0kb.
