Hello! Thank you for taking time to read my post.
I had a question involving an architectural plan. I am currently drawing my house, and my house is split up into two parts, one with an addition, and a second floor. So in the main house, where the front door is, there is no second floor, however with the addition on the other part of the house, there is a second floor. On the second floor tab, I want to make sure you cannot see the one half of the house since it's not two floors, only one. It'll be more descriptive in the screenshots. I want to find a way for me to separate the pieces, so you only see the one half of the house on the 2nd Floor tab.

Sounds like you are describing two structures - one existing construction and one new construction (the addition). Both sharing the same Level 1 with the addition have a Level 2 as well. You can utilize Phasing with View Phase Filters to achieve what you want to do.
...you'll find plenty of documentation and videos on-line about Phasing. Start here to learn some basics and terminology.
