Hi everyone.
I have a problem with my new project. The coordinate point I got from the surveyor is far from my building - over 100 kilometers. In this case, the coordinates for placing the piles (for axample) must be given precisely in these coordinates.
I try to move survey point from my building, but Revit returns error "Please enter a value less than 9144000mm".
I was able to solve the problem using dwg-file that measures 100000000mm: imported it into Revit, and then could move the point to 100km using object snap to dwg file.
It turned out well, the tool "Coordinate snap" displays the required coordinates.

Thanx.

OK, I'm going to ask a stupid question, but are you sure those coordinates from your surveyor are not in metres?
Surveying coordinates I've worked with are in metres and not millimetres...
Yes, I at first thought it was millimeters in surveyor's docs, but it turned out that meters ![]()
Now everything is working fine, let's see what happens next

OK, but Revit is probably set to mm input. I've had issues before where users are entering metre OS coords in Revit which is set to mm resulting in massive coordinates...
