Does anyone know under what conditions Autodesk.Revit.DB.FormulaManager.Validate() would throw this exception Autodesk.Revit.Exceptions.InternalException?

AN app I'm working on keeps getting this when I try to change a single number in the formula. If I change the number in the properties palette, no exception is thrown.

Is there any other part of your code that could be throwing the exception? I ask because according to Revit API Docs this exception isn't associated with the Validate() method.

Can you show us what you are trying to do, its pretty hard to trouble shoot things like this without seeing what you are trying to do?

Afaik, InternalException should never be thrown to the external Revit API.

Hence, the development team would like to be notified of this to analyse and prevent the issue from occurring.

Can you please provide a minimal reproducible case for them to work with?

Thank you!

The attached 2021 Revit family has a small macro in it that gets the internal exception. I'm using the 2021 Preview Release of Revit. I have since discovered the exception doesn't happen an every parameter. So far it only seems to happen on the parameters "Rough Height" and "Rough Width".
