Where should I start from with Revit API (Revit vs Inventor)

I'd like to know where should I start from to use Revit API effectively (I was surprized that there is no corresponding thread bined to top of this forum).

I used to do some coding for Autodesk Inventor and there are two extremely useful pieces of API documentation that help anybody (even those having no experience with Inventor) to get basic understanding of it:
- Chart "Inventor API Object Model" - graphical tree of Inventor API Objects (way of distribution  -  ex. Inventor 2022 Object Model.pdf).

- Overviews section of the API help (Inventor API on-line help).

But I see no anything alike for the Revit.

I'd like to know what I'm missing?

I wonder how you managed to search and not find anything useful.

I searched for "getting started with the Revit API":

That returns all one needs to know, afaict.

Specifically, one starting point is the list of Revit API getting started material on The Building Coder:

You can also refer to the official material provided by Autodesk in the Revit developer centre and in the Developer Guide in the Revit online help:
