VS not recognizing namespace

Hey guys!

So, I'm kinda new in programming and all and this is probably a noob question, but anyways, here it goes

The Autodesk help tells me to add RevitAPI.dll and RevitAPIUI.dll to my project in visual studio, and I did it no problems.

The thing is, when I add one of the dll, Visual Studio "forgets" the other.

So I can either have

using Autodesk.Revit.DB;

or

using Autodesk.Revit.UI;

 since Visual Studio will only recognize whichever one of the dlls I selected last.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in Advance!

In SolutionExplorer,under the Reference option check whether you have both RevitAPI and RevitApiUI are loaded.

sometimes the references are added but it is loaded into the project.

In that case in solution explorer,right click reference and select Add Reference and load your references....
