view sketch lines in the making of a selection

Dear Revitiers,

I have Revit 2021. I have created a plugin that lets you draw floors automatically by selecting a set of points with the PickPoint function. Is it possible to display the sketch lines while making a selection ? It doesn't have to be done with PickPoint, but I just want to emulate the ergonomics of the Boundary Line / Inscribed Polygon based floor creation (like in this photo).

I am not aware of any direct and official support for this in the Revit API.
