Validation Tool - Showing Revision

Unsure if this is the correct area to post this. I am looking to use the validation tool/interoperability tool to create reports based on parameters in our files. Currently i am able to get the tool to check for an generic models with the revision parameter, but when i get the report it does not show the requested parameter values. Any ideas?

The output shows: Category, Family, Type, Name and Element ID which i think are defaults?

You mention "the validation tool/interoperability tool". I am unsure what you mean by this. Are you talking about the Autodesk model checker?

In any case, please note that this discussion forum is dedicated to programming Revit using the Revit API. If you are not doing anything programmatically yourself using the Revit API, just using the standard Revit or model checker user interface, unfortunately, this is not the best place to ask such a question. You will probably get more optimal answers to questions relating to product setup, optimisation, usage, best practices and other end-user support issues in one of the non-API Revit product support discussion forums instead:

You cannot change the report output in the Model Checker/AVT. Those fields are set.

Do you have any leads on a product that could report on that data, and run via BIM 360/ACC without loading Revit? Something to mass export family data?

Cheers,

Hm. I still have very little idea what you are after. Pardon my limited experience outside the desktop Revit API... This is an API forum. Are you looking for an API solution or an end user product? Or anything? How about this... does this help?
