Here is an add-in that creates a ribbon panel dealing with user keynotes. Here also is the user keynote editor application one of the panel's buttons launches. These might be of use as is. They also might serve as how one way to do examples.

Of interest to those dealing with launching a home brew external application where only one instance of the external application should be running, that is what this wpfRevituserKeynoteManager inherently does.

Dear Aksaks,

Thank you very much for kindly sharing these nice utility add-ins and good code samples!

The Building Coder published a slightly more fleshed out pointer to them here:

RevitAddinKeyNoteSystem Keynote Manager

Does that description fit your intention?

Is there anything to add?

By the way, I corrected a typo or two in your GitHub repository readme... shall I create a pull request for those, or can you pick them out yourself from the blog post?

Thank you!

Cheers,

Jeremy

Thank you Jeremy for welcomed editing. I am always humbled by how effortless someone else’s rewriting of my writing reads.

I picked up the edits I could see except for some capitalization I prefer to maintain. I like to capitalize most Revit names to keep it clear in my mind the reference is to a specific Revit item instead of something that is not Revit specific.

Thank you,
Allan Seidel
