Run commands on in-place editor mode

Is there any way to write add-ins to run in the in-place editor mode?

I would like to run some commands when I am working in-place mode creating masses or other in-place components.

When the in-place editor mode is activated, almost all tabs in Revit are disabled to be used.

There is no API editing context for in-place models that I'm aware of.

Probably nearest is with family edit for mass families (family document creation methods).
