revit interoperability tools error

It's been a while that I've been trying to use the Revit Interoperability Tools add-on, but it has been showing instabilities, I've updated both Revit and the add-on to the latest version, but even so it's not working. the error in question is when I try to use the Standarized Data tool, which I use to assign UNICLASS 2015 ratings to elements within my project. Whenever I try to assign these ratings the software simply crashes and no longer works unless I close it from the task manager. And remembering that I have already tested it on 3 different computers which makes me sure that the defect is in the software, which we were used to using but which is now showing instabilities, this since the beginning of January.

I have been on to an Autodesk expert for the past 3.5 days with no resolution. First it was the addins, then it was Microsoft, then it was something else and it went on like this till all my apps were removed. This has been escalated to someone else as they found no resolution. I have another PC that has not had Windows or Autodesk updates which worked. I then ran the windows update and it was still working, I then ran the autodesk updates and low and behold it stopped working like the other PC's. I left 2023 with no Autodesk updates and this is still working. If I get a response I will post it here.

I contacted an external company we deal with and they have managed to sort a workaround to allow us to assign these classifications. We downloaded the Uniclass 2015 classification file and used this as the picklist and it worked straight away but this still doesn't resolve the overall issue with the software.

This sounds like an end user issue to me, with nothing to do with you yourself doing any programming using the Revit API, so this forum is not the optimal place to be discussing the topic...

I'm in discussions with Autodesk just now regarding this issue as it only happened when I updated my Autodesk software so why would it not be relevant to the question that's asked? It's taken 4 days for Autodesk to go through a multitude of scenarios (costing me time & money) none of which let me progress but 5 minutes for someone external to find a solution.
