to whom it may concern,
this is probably more a search for soul mates rather an API issue.
A1. We have Autodesk offering Generative Designs via Fusion and Dynamo
A2. We have Revit supporting Dynamo but also Python.
A3. I see that Dwave and IBM experiment with Quantum Computers which can enhance the design process through optimization and theoretical AI.
A4. Dwave allows to access their quantum annealing solution via the web and python.
A5. The logic needs to be coded on base of a simple gates logic, which is then translated for the quantum machine.
+++ The challenge +++:
Let's make a pizza and put all 5 ingredients on it, a quinto stazione, normal +1.
Can we get Revit to hook up to a Dwave machine for AI design enhancements?
B1. Find a problem to solve, worth of a quantum machine. I know there are BIM and block-chain applications, we need a real heavy problem.
B2. structure it through logic gates
B3. code it up in python
B4. hook it up with Revit
B5. develop Dynamo nodes
B2.-B5. is not an issue, I'm stuck with B1. While I could think of automated reo, automated connections, automated skin, materials, and solutions, its all too straight forward. I could think for Adsk Sketchbook sketching a line, the computer generating a whole building based on this, with reo and connections, would this help, like searching for a prime number.
What could be problems, computer cannot solve at this point in regards of this?
I know everybody uses this forum to seek solutions, I'm seeking a problem, but quantum mech is upside down - isn't it? Who is keen for an input / round table comment?
