Revit API Legends

Is there a way to get a reference of the text that descripe the legend component via API? A legend is a cobination of a legend component and a text but it seems that the text is not referred with the legend compnent.

I'm fairly certain this is possible but the API is not directly supported. Please review the information in the following link. One of the API folks may chime in in a few minutes.

Hi Christian,

Could you add the minimum sample rvt file with a pointer to an element/properties that you want to get an access?  Might be easier to understand which properties.  Thank you.

Hi Christian,

Does not look like there are associations among elements.  When pick Wandtypen in the project browser and and snoop into using Revit Lookup, it shows the visible elements. But that's about it.

In you are in the desparate needs, one thing you might want to try and see if it works is that, you try to temporarily delete the view Wandtypen and catch which elements are deleted. immidiately rollback the transaction.  after that you exam the list of elements and find out the associated elements.

Regardsless of such a workaround works or not, you may want to raise a wish for properly exposing API for future.

Sorry for not much help on this.
