Revit 2023 and onwards: IFC Exporter

I thought I read somehwere that Autodesk's opensource IFCexporter was included in the current builds (revit 2023 and onwards). 

Thus there is no difference between native ifc exporter and the addon version.

Step 1: am I wrong?

Step 2: if there is a difference: can we access the opensource addon somehow?
(python programmer here, so I have to convert c# stuff, but that would be my problem).
