Retrieving the underlining generative geometric elements

Hello,

I am interested in retrieving the profiles of user defined geometry.  For example, when defining a floor in the UI, the user manipulates the sketch lines to define the perimeter.  Is it possible to access those sketch lines?  Similarly when defining a Sweep Blend in an in-place family element?  Is there a way to access the end profiles and the sweep path?

For specific element, you may get some data regarding how it was generated...

But a more generic approach is based on the resultant geometry, so you get the main face (usually the one that have the same normal as the orientation) and analyze the loops on it.

If you have a more specific scenario, maybe we can suggest better.
