Do we have access to a material's texture image thru Revit's API, and/or Dynamo?

Dear Trevor,

Thank you for your query.

Yes, we do.

Eason Kang explains how to access it in his explanation how to show a Revit custom texture map in the Forge Viewer:

https://forge.autodesk.com/blog/show-revit-custom-texture-map-viewer

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jeremy

Thank you much, for the information.

My scenario:

I have an IFC opening in Revit with materials attached to it's surfaces, but their assets are blank/grayed out, with no path to its texture image file.  My thought was to feed the materials with texture's image path via Excel & Dynamo.  Creating materials via Excel & Dynamo seams to be possible, but cant seam to add image file path.  Is this possible?
