RE: extracting parameter from model and using for API calculation

I am Karthik, NUS singapore Student Civil Engineering , working on REVIT API AND Constructability score.

Basically I need to extract parameters of a component .( for example if i have added parameter scaffold to the wall component with 4 options)

I need to write an API which can extract the parameter for one floor , do the simple calculation of how many does each type of that particular parameter have
(ex: scaffold type 1: 20 ,  type :25 , type 3 :50 ..)   and return the percentage of occurance of each scaffold .

Thats all I need the API to do .

I want to know whether this can be done and how exactly.
