I have 3 files :

And now , when I try use print PDF in revit 2022  or higher, problem cause, when i try print File 2 from file Main, it can't print detail of file 1 in File 2. So i want question , whether we have any solution in revit 2023 update or any solution to can do ? Thanks you !

Dear @chuongmep ,

This sounds like a problem with the Revit product itself, not specifically with the Revit API.

Therefore, you might get more useful and numerous responses raising this in the general Revit Architecture forum instead of here in the API discussion space:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-api-forum/this-forum-is-for-revit-api-programming-questions-not...

The people there are much better equipped to address this kind of topic than us programming nerds.

Best regards,

Jeremy

Dear @jeremy_tammik

sorry I haven't explained the problem clearly, I'm using Revit API to print file in link file(file2).The problem is described as above. Obviously I am in main project file(main) and I print the project(file2), the project(file1) will be linked into the project(file2). The strange thing is that the revit api can print with the linked file but not showing any details if in the file that link links more subfiles.I think this is very necessary because we have developed a process that allows printing link files in the project from Revit 2022(RevitAPI Supported Print Linked).

I still wonder whether the desired print job works successfully when driven manually through the end user interface.

Does it?

If not, this is a product problem, not API related.

If it does work as expected in the UI, can you please provide a complete minimal reproducible case demonstrating the problem in the API?

Thank you!
