We have several plugins working in C++ with Autodesk 2016 so now wants to have these plugins working on Autodesk 2022 by upgrading Autodesk version. Please share the complete procedure for this.

Please share complete details of Autodesk Revit tool.

Welcome! What product are you using? Autodesk is the company name and there are many software titles.  Once I know what product you are using, I can move this post to the correct forum so that you might find an answer.

Thank you.

This is the correct forum for discussing migration of Revit add-ins.

All Revit add-ins are pure .NET based class libraries and independent of the programming language used, so the steps for a C++ add-in are the same as for C# and other languages.

You can check the list of What's New in the Revit API posts to determine what changed in the Revit API from one release to the next and apply modifications accordingly:

https://thebuildingcoder.typepad.com/blog/2021/04/whats-new-in-the-revit-2022-api.html

In most cases, no modification is required at all.

Between Revit 2016 and Revit 2022, however, one significant change that cannot be ignored is the .NET framework version; the Revit 2022 API requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8:

Other changes are probably minor and depend completely on your code.
