Pipes geometry through ExportContext

We are running into a bit of an issue with geometry that we are getting for pipes. It appears that perfect cylindrical pipes are exported in 4 quarters instead of one section (Attached images). Is there a way to change this behavior? If not, is there any explanation on why the geometry is being delivered like this?

Yes. For some reason not quite clear to me, Revit often prefers to represent a circle by two half-circle arcs. Similar behaviour is probably present in cylinders as well, and hence in pipes also.

I can imagine that this is difficult or even more probably impossible to change.

Have tried controlling the quality of the geometry on custom export?
