How do I check that a pipe is upward or downward.

How about simply asking it for its curve and checking the start and end points?

Hi,

I compared the Z of the pipe's start point and end point. If the Z of the pipe's end point is more then the Z of the pipe's start point the pipe if upward and vice versa.
