parallel wall joins

How to detect if two (or more) parallel walls are joined?

My problem is, that using the GetBoundarySegments function of a room, I only

get the first (inner most) of three parallel joined walls.

Any ideas?

I have a similar Problem. I want two know how to merge two parallel walls into a single multilayered wall which can be detected by the getboundry-function.
