How can people participate?

At the moment, people can make changes to the plugins available on GitHub (according to the standard scheme, they created a branch, made changes, made a PullRequest).
Over time, I will create a help (or video) with an example of how to create new plugins for ModPlus. Now I am preparing articles on the basic requirements.

Currently, all free plugins are available. But paid plugins remain closed.
I plan to realize the opportunity to work on a commercial basis. For example, this way: someone writes a cool plugin for ModPlus, which will be paid, and I give this person a percentage of sales. Now I sometimes order the development of plugins for money and these plugins also become open.
I do not want to make such a platform in which anyone can add plugins. Everything that is in the project is controlled by me. Such control allows me to contain only high-quality plugins in the project. In addition, I digitally sign all this!

I fink is more than Alexander has say. In Revit plugins and scripts we see many not correct working designs.
Plugins in store may not accepted newer version of Revit. Houndreds of repository in GitHub nou one had now about it.
We don't have community around it, except yore blog and forum. But in our community we have many god programmers, ho did god finks for all. But the all localy, oraund they own project.
In my opinion, ModPluse platform and they open sorce part it's try consolidate god and solid design, make him live and grow. An attempt to offer new developers, not to write another plug-in "do it all", but to develop something together, to apply the principles of the big development world, which move all the programming industries in the world, in our local world, to solve design problems. Since, as we know, many of our tasks, no one will solve for us.

And I do not know other similar attempts here. Or missed them. Unless pyRevit comes to mind, but it is an IronPython with all its legasy.
