Open new empty project from within another project using API C#

Hi everyone!

I am trying to with the click of a button open a new empty canvas/project (however you want to call it) that can be manipulated using API. For example, I have a model open and with the click of a button I want to open an empty canvas and build something different without having to ruin the original model and without having to open another model manually.
