LinkedConnector property returns null

in the picture below,the pipe connector is connected to a familyinstance,yet the LinkedConnector property is null,why ?

Hi,

The LinkedConnector refers to the link between connectors inside the family. If you're trying to find the connected element, you need to look under the AllRefs property.
