Link View Scale in Sheet View to text.

Hi Everyone,

I would like to be able to use the scale of a view in my sheet to adjust some text. Why? because if I only have one view on my sheet, there is only one scale which appears in my titleblock. If this single scale can be used to select a corresponding piece of text the, I want to be able to use it to display a single piece of text within my scale bar. This way the scale of the scale bar on my sheet is parametrically linked to the view on display. Eg If sheet scale is 1:100 display 10metres.

Cool. Try using DMU, the dynamic model update framework.

Before doing that, ensure that you can in fact perform all the required steps and access all the required data manually, i.e. through user interface commands and RevitLookup snooping.
