Link to Group Bind - Geometry Shift

When converting a Link to a Group (Bind), the resultant geometry has moved significantly. Again, although seemingly not an API question, it is pertinent to know what is happening in the database in order to have confidence in automation. Given that the linked models were stacked origin to origin, I can't see why a shift should occur. Thanks for any insider insight. Dale

Dear Dale,

Thank you for asking.

Can you provide a minimal reproducible sample for this, please?

Preferably using an absolutely minimal Revit model, e.g., just a very feww walls or simple family instances or something like that, and preferably exhibiting the same shift both when driven manually through the user interface and programmatically through the API, with exact step-by-step instructions for both procedures.

Or, if the shifts differ, better still.

I need such a reproducible sample in order to ask the development team to take a look:

Thank you!

Cheers,

Jeremy
