Large sample revit files for performance testing

Hello;

I'm developing a revit addin, and I'm concerned over it's performance when interacting with large models. I'd like to isolate a set of projects that I can use as a set of benchmarks going forward. I've considered generating large models via the API, but these models will obviously differ in subtle and unsubtle ways from real models; ideally I'd be able to test performance against the sort of messiness that emerges in real projects. Does anyone know of a repository for sample files that would fit the bill (or have a few large project files sitting around that they'd be willing to share)? How do other folks test and validate tools against realistic projects?
