Join DirectShape geometry

Hi! 

I'm trying to create direct shape geometry: some solids that are a kind of extrudion of face. How can I join them as it is shown in pictures?

First, find out how to achieve what you want manually in the user interface.

If you cannot achieve it manually, chances are high that the Revit API will not help you with it either.

Next, explore the resulting model and the changes that occurred using RevitLookup and other database exploration tools.

Once that is complete, start programming.
