Hoping someone could help with the issue below.
I have had a small plugin developed for Revit and the developer has come across an issue when the project revisions are set to by sheet and not by project.
The plugin displays the current Sheet details and was originally displaying the Revision Sequence, this wasn't an issue but wasn't what I wanted. I wanted the Current Revision as shown on the sheet. The developer changed it to display the Current revision but we are now finding that when the Revisions are set to by sheet not by project that app is timing out causing revit to crash. When the project is set to revisions by project the results are almost instant.
The two methods being used are
GetRevisionNumberOnSheet Method
Below is the note on the RevisionNumber
Note that this field is only available if the RevisionSettings are set to number revisions PerProject. When Revisions are numbered PerSheet, a given Revision may display a different RevisionNumber on each sheet. In this case, the revision number can be obtained by calling [!:Autodesk::Revit::DB::ViewSheet::GetRevisionNumberOnSheet()] .
Is there a known workaround to obtain the current revision on a sheet when using revisions per sheet without the overhead?
Thanks for any advice you can provide.
