Is it possible? SQL to Shared Parameter

I'm not asking how to do this, just if it's even possible.
We have multiple titleblocks, all being filled out with various shared parameters.  IT and our development team is putting together a SQL database with company information by state, legal names, etc.  

Is it possible to use this existing SQL database to fill out the shared parameters in my titleblock in projects?

I'm sure this is a loaded question, but i have yet to find anything that says i can fill out a SP with information in an existing SQL DB.

Curious on everyone's thoughts....

Yes, it is possible.

It's a trivial interaction, easy to implement, between SQL Server and Revit DB.

We do this day in / day out for a lot of data that is processed automatically in the background.
