Independent View to Dependent view

I am looking to make an independent view a dependent view under an existing dependent view. I have a current view with dependents under it and I have an independent view that I also want with t hose dependents. I thought it would be as easy as dragging the view up the Project Browser and dropping it under the desired view. Wondering if this is possible.

Isn't the question how to convert an independent view back to a dependent view?  Link shows what Revit already does ie the other way round.
