Ifc export problem Walls

Hi all,

I have a problem with Walls in the IFC-export.

Walls in the IFC-export cutting more parts (see images).

The value of the area and volume are exact the same in the Revit-model as in IFC-export.

Anyone more who have the same problems with this?

It seems to me that you are not making use of the Revit API to program any part of this functionality yourself.

In that case, unfortunately, this is not the best place to ask such a question.

Please note that this discussion forum is dedicated to programming Revit using the Revit API.

Therefore, you cannot expect an answer to a question such as yours relating to product usage or end user support issues here.

You should try one of the non-API Revit product support discussion forums instead for that:

The people there are much better equipped to answer your question than us programming nerds.

First I would post this in the Revit Architecture Forum.

Some checks:

The wall; its modelled as one single wall?

In the IFC export setting; is "Split Walls by Level" checked?, what happens if you create a IFC with this unchecked?

Export only visible objects in view on?
