IE browser/iframe support inside Revit?

Developers - I'm looking to install an iframe into Revit as an app where it essentially links to an existing website. I remember that AutoCAD used to be closely tied to MSFT tech and had the Help system in an IE iframe (via the BROWSER feature), but does Revit support using IE in the form of a simple browser panel?

Not directly IE, but an Internet browser, yes.

  

You can host a browser pane in a WPF control and place that in a form displayed by your add-in.

 

Many people use CefSharp, and the infrastructure for that is also used by Revit itself and hence included in the standard installation:
