How to read and modify a certain column in a schedule?

 I trying to make an addin which read a specific column, modify the content and insert it again in the same place.

Anyone who has done a simialar thing or has an idea how to do it in best way.

Hey,

The content of the columns of a schedule are the values of parameters of the elements in the schedule. So you can not modify them directly, you can only modify the values of the parameters.

What you usually do is this :

- create a new parameter. Usually you create a shared parameter because it is easier.

- Bind it to the category on which your schedule is built.

- compute the values of the parameter for each element of the category

- create the new column in the schedule based on the parameter you just created and populated.

- Hide the previous one.

Not that hard, but quite tedious.
