Hi Guys,

How to change the colour of object snap symbols in Revit 2017.

I noticed, while the Revit 2017 window background colour is black. The object snap symbol is Grey in colour. And while the background colour is in white. It automatically changes to Magenta.

I want the symbol to be in Magenta in black background.

If anyone knows, how to change the colour of this object snap symbol. Please let me know.

Attached screenshots for reference.

Hi Radish,
I doubt there is a way with the API. (If you can't change it using the UI, the API isn't normally helpful.) I suspect that this setting would be available in revit.ini if anywhere. Try setting each background then comparing.

Cheers,

-Matt

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your reply.

I searched whole C Drive, cannot find the revit.ini file.

Please guide me to find it.

HI @matthew_taylor,

Thanks for your info.

I go through the Revit.ini file. I cannot find any variable to change the color of the Auto Snap Marker.

So the conclusion is, Revit 2017 don't have an option to change the color of the Auto Snap Marker.
