How split floor to into two objects ?

I'm new to Revit's API.
I would like split floor to into two objects.
But "Revit 2014 HELP" no discovery method.
Please help me.

I guess with split you main the layers of a floor ?

Have a look at this blog, it for walls but it's the same with floors.
