Help with Creating Dimensions from a Grid to Walls in Revit Links

I’m working on a plugin for Revit and need help creating dimensions from a grid to walls that come from Revit links. My goal is to automate the creation of these dimensions to improve documentation in my projects.

I have created a basic code that retrieves the walls from a Revit link, but I’m having trouble referencing the grids and establishing the dimensions correctly.

Can anyone help me understand how to create a dimension from a grid to the walls in a linked document? What steps should I follow to correctly establish the references?
