GetTopFaces returns null objects

Hi!

I have a roof element that displays some weird behavior: when I look up the top faces and then turn the references into GeometryObjects, some of the objects turn out null. I can't really understand what is causing this behavior, it seems to be one specific element, because when I create a new roof of the same type, the top faces turn out correctly.

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this? I could send over a Revit model containing an object that displays this behaviour, but the forum doesn't allow me to attach it.

Thanks,

Taavi

This might be due to a weird editing history. Maybe the element was joined with others, or split apart into two or more, or other operations performed, which left some remnants of something pointing to some geometry sub-elements that no longer exist.
