Event to display current view name

Hi All,

I'm writing an addon to do various browser tasks, essentially it will be a modeless dialog box which will display some links to various views.

As part of this I'd like to get the name of the active view, and get it to change as the user swaps between views and different documents.

I'd appreciate some points on the best way of doing this. I guess I would have to subscribe to some sort of event which then triggers code to update the dialog?

Does that sound about right?
