editing (default) IFC parameters when exporting IFC

1. I would appreciate if you have any insights to uniform the system name pipe when exporting revit to ifc file. For instance, my superiors would not accept an unorganized file like this :

and the issue comes from revit not letting me assign same system name for unconnected pipe networks

2. Secondly is there a ifc configuration to make from the back end to change the Name value so the property Name from the IFC file do not show the "PIPE TYPE" phrase which is kind of annoying

No matter what IFC software I use to open it up, it always depict the same extra words:

2.1 What's more I've been trying to tackle this one by exporting custom project parameters. However I believe something wrong is going on with my txt. file as the ifc gets exported without depicting the custom parameters:

Any other setup Do I have to bear in mind so this works correctly?

Thanks in advance, have a nice weekend

Thank you for these very relevant and rather in-depth questions.

I am afraid they go beyond my knowledge.

Bear in mind that the entire Revit import and export functionality is open source:

https://github.com/Autodesk/revit-ifc

Hence, you can easily modify any aspects that you do not like or would prefer to improve.

For all in-depth discussions on IFC issues, your best bet will be to raise them in the IFC forum:

https://sourceforge.net/p/ifcexporter/discussion/general

hi @miguel.gutierrezD74CZ,

You can try changing the value in the red circle as below image.
