Edit Group Type

Is there a way to edit a group type? Only way we could think of now is to place a instance of the group type, ungroup it, fix the elements in the group type, and than re-group it, give it the name of the group type. Problem here is that you have to set the coordinates correct and it's not really editing a group type.
