I encountered this when trying to migrate addin from 2020 to 2021. To reproduce this issue, simply run API sample "DuplicateGraphics" in both 2020 and 2021. No graphics is showing up in 2021 under realistic view style, turn back on if switch to other view styles.

2022 has the same issue. Seems like the new realistic view style introduced in 2021 does not work well with D3D.

We love the new realistic view a lot, it is much better in terms of quality and speed. It is even faster than the other two shaded view styles. Really want it to keep supporting D3D, because our users are used to work inside realistic view, don't want to force them to switch view style.

One more issue with realistic style: UIDocument.RefreshActiveView() method is quite slow when active view is realistic style and the model is large. Other styles does not feel the lag.
