Hi,

I could reproduce this, if the endwalls are angled (also happend with perpendicular walls) and Tab-select the intersectionpoint of the 2 walls.

Result: 2 References, 3 Segments, the 2 other references are maybe not "stable" (or just doesn't display point references).

You should report this, thanks for noticing.

I'll have to incorperate this in my dim routines to check the number of references against segments.

Update: If you first Tab-selected the dimension from the endwalls it has 2 references, now add the 2 for the window and it results in 4 references.

I think because the the window is dimensioned first it doen't "need" to actually reference the Tabbed endpoint, just the length to it....

The Symbol appearing when tabbing is also different (round vs square) during tabbing the endpoint, see image below

Yes, I know if you change creation method of the dimmension sometimes is correct number of reference and sometimes not.

But It's not solution for me....I can't checking how the user created the dim..

Now for me is a bug. 😄

That's correct,

Trouble is we can't re-create this dimension from the API, and that is a bug.

The position is the extends of the dimension, this could be determined, but not the actual point.

For now I am going to block these kinds of dimension from being edit by my addins, and report them back to the user.

I wish we just could edit the dimension without re-creating the whole dimension so they kept their elementIds, just like in the UI.
