Hi Remy,
yesterday I contacted Peter Schlipf, I had the same question.
He said that DevDays were now part of the Forge DevCon.
For this year, there have already been held in Darmstadt.
Rudi
Okay, I've read about darmstadt, but I wasn't aware it was devdays aswell.. Nice way of communicating with us. Guess I won't be seeing you this year 😞
Dear Remy,
Yes, sorry about that!
I miss you both!
The most Revit-ish option nowadays is BILT by RTC:
https://www.rtcevents.com/bilt/
It is an end user conference, not pure developers, very professional and high level.
Let's see if we can meet there next year.
Cheers,
Jeremy
Hi,
I wasn't aware of it as well 😞
If I would have known that before, I would have visited the AU in Darmstadt, of course.
See you in 2018...
:-(((
Rudi
Thanks for your reply Jeremy,
Does this imply that there will be no devdays in the future?
Yep, same here.
> Does this imply that there will be no devdays in the future?
Nobody knows the future.
If enough interest is raised, or motivation created, there will be a venue for Revit API issues anytime you like 🙂
I am just in the process of publishing the notes from the Revit API panel held last week at Autodesk University in Las Vegas...
Cheers,
Jeremy
Hi Jeremy,
I was in Aarhus on ECS but did not attend the following BILT.
As a developer, I'm mainly interested in the API for the next version, its changes and its new features.
In 2015 I visited the RTC in Budapest but I didn't learn much about my primary topic.
So I omitted 2016 RTC/BILT and also BILT in Aarhus (but attended ECS because of the content topic).
Rudi
Alternative would be to organise an own dedicated Revit API meeting somewhere sometime someone...
