If file corruption etc there is nothing the API can do to fix that.

What happens when you select it and use 'Delete' key on keyboard? Note you'll have to unpin it to delete it regardless.

I'd be surprised if anyone actually uses that 'cross' button to delete things (maybe those using Revit without a keyboard perhaps...).

Thanks for reply!
Nothing happens
If you see also copy is greyed out, I create the below text with create similar.
I can use the family in the project without problem the geometry also has the same problem, I did uncheck locked parameters also unpin the text if you see both images both elements are the same also pinned .... and not I dont use that cross to delete only is to demostrate that the element is blocked for a kind of magic conjure

Very odd nothing obvious stands out.

If you go into the text note and delete it's contents then it will disappear. It may then get audited out at some point, would likely be some check for empty text elements. Although once you remove the contents it appears to delete it anyway.

There are some items in families you can't delete such as the host slab in a floor based family. So perhaps the text note has been marked in a similar way internally.

Thank you so much @RPTHOMAS108!

Let's see what the community says, I knew only that the file is programed to have this behavior I'd love to learn how to get there too.

I want I want to hit the nail on the head, there are many half solutions It's a very easy family I could create a new one with the same parameters and shapes in 5 minutes you know, or erase the text content or  create a new void shape to delete the geometry and create the mine one, many workarounds, have to have a good pratice that the program offers.
