custom toolbar for parameters

I have a question,

does anyone know an add-on that allows you to put fields in it for changing certain parameters?

i use "comments" and other part specific parameters a lot, but keep scrolling to get to the wright parameters.

if you select a pipe the parameters "size" and "elevation from level" show up in toolbar, i want to put other parameters there, is this posible?

I was wondering about the same thing and did some research, but unfortunately I couldn’t find any solution.

Conclusion

In Revit, it doesn’t seem to be possible to add custom parameters to the Options Bar (where “Size” and “Elevation from Level” are shown for pipes).
Those fields are fixed by Revit for each category, and they can’t be customized, even with add-ins.

I also tried to look for any settings, add-ins, or API solutions, but couldn’t find anything that allows this.

Alternative

Not exactly the same, but one small improvement is:

• Go to Manage → Project Parameters

• Select the parameter you often use (e.g. “Comments”)

  • Change its Parameter Group to one that appears near the top of the Properties Palette (for example: Identity Data, Constraints, etc.)

This at least reduces the need to scroll.

with comments that does not work, but with our custom parameter that we have to change per instance it works! no its on top in stead of at the bottom!

I have an addin that I wrote that pops up a window where I can edit a comments parameter.  It's tied to our Noteblocks which is what we use for keynotes.   

I get a little long winded sometimes, so I like the extra space I can type in without having to arrow over in the properties window.   So it is possible if you are willing to write come code.
