Create room directshape in a 3D view of own choice

Hello,

 

Jeremy post the code here to create directshape in the 3D view name {3D}. In some project when we have delete this view we can't re create them. Its possible to define a 3D view name as i would example Room volume?

Yes, of course.

 

Or, rather, no, not at all.

 

A DirectShape element is a normal BIM element. It exists in the model itself. It forms part of the building that you are modelling. It is therefore view independent.

 

There is no need to specify a view when you create a Revit BIM element.
